Why Climate Zone 13 Matters Here
Climate Zone 13 covers Kings Canyon National Pk and is characterized by extreme summer heat and cold winter nights, among the most demanding compliance zones. Title 24 software accounts for this automatically, but it changes which upgrades make the most sense for your project.
Estimated from proximity to the nearest CEC reference station — we confirm the exact zone for your project's address before preparing your report.
Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the compliance path used in your energy model. Certain prescriptive credits — duct sealing, refrigerant charge verification, air leakage testing — trigger a HERS verification requirement. We flag these clearly in every Kings Canyon National Pk report we prepare.

Yes. We evaluate every project against both paths and recommend whichever gets you to compliance with the least cost and complexity — sometimes prescriptive is simpler, sometimes performance modeling unlocks more design flexibility.
