How Apex Prepares a Title 24 Report
- Project plans and scope are reviewed.
- The correct climate zone and code requirements are identified.
- Envelope, window, HVAC, water-heating and other relevant project information is modeled using applicable current state-approved compliance software (CBECC-Res for residential projects).
- The applicable prescriptive or performance path is evaluated.
- Required HERS measures are disclosed when applicable.
- The completed energy compliance package is prepared for permit submittal.
- Apex may coordinate with an independent certified HERS rater when field verification is required, but Apex does not perform HERS field verification.
