Why Climate Zone 9 Matters Here
Climate Zone 9 covers Agoura Hills and is characterized by hot, dry summers and cool winters typical of the greater Los Angeles basin. Title 24 software accounts for this automatically, but it changes which upgrades make the most sense for your project.
Estimated from proximity to the nearest CEC reference station — we confirm the exact zone for your project's address before preparing your report.
Frequently Asked Questions
At minimum we need the site address, a dimensioned floor plan, window schedule, proposed HVAC and water heating equipment, and insulation values. The more complete your plans, the faster we can turn around your report.
It depends on the compliance path used in your energy model. Certain prescriptive credits — duct sealing, refrigerant charge verification, air leakage testing — trigger a HERS verification requirement. We flag these clearly in every Agoura Hills report we prepare.
Apex provides Title 24 documentation services for projects in Agoura Hills, including ADUs, garage conversions, room additions, residential remodels, new construction, HVAC or window alterations, and commercial work. The required compliance process depends on the project scope and permit requirements.
